About The Position

Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Missile Test and Evaluation Analyst/Engineer to join our Arlington, VA team. This role requires an individual who can provide immediate expertise and technical support to surface ship weapons test and evaluation programs sponsored by the Program Acquisition Executive - Munitions. The primary work location is Arlington, VA, with requirements to work on-site up to five (5) days per week. Limited telework may be available with government approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, science, or a technical discipline, or four (4) years of equivalent technical experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • 2+ Years of Test and Evaluation (T&E) related experience related to DoD /Naval Weapons Systems / Missile Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge and skills in Test and Evaluation
  • Knowledge and skills in Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge and skills in Modeling and Simulation
  • Knowledge and skills in System Integration & Testing
  • Knowledge and skills in DoD / DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 Process)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of Missile and Weapon System test planning, execution, data analysis, and results reporting by providing on-site technical and programmatic assistance to the Developmental Test Lead.
  • Support multiple complex technical and programmatic development efforts at the same time.
  • Provide support for test and evaluation planning, coordination, and execution services.
  • Support includes reviewing test plans and other documentation, coordinating resources with external organizations, developing and managing test requirements and objectives, on-site support of test events, and reviewing data results.
  • Interface with a geographically diverse team consisting of the USN Program Office, Navy Laboratories, Weapon System Design Agent, and test ranges.
  • Support the validation of test procedures at various facilities, including Navy Laboratories, test ranges, and the Weapon System Design Agent facilities.
  • Participate in frequent technical interchange meetings and working groups to resolve issues as required.
  • Support team meetings by coordinating personnel, developing and managing agendas, participating in discussions, and documenting action items.
  • Develop and present technical and programmatic material to technical and executive audiences.
  • Coordinate efforts and liaise between the program office, test range, and participating Navy and contractor organizations supporting T&E activities.
