About The Position

This is a temporary full-time paid internship position for full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university and recent graduates in North America. The internship typically runs from May through August. The position is not eligible for Freeport-McMoRan immigration work visa sponsorship. Interns will work at the Collaboration Hub at the Cotton Center in Phoenix, Arizona, which provides an open, flexible workspace with amenities like a working café, phone booths, and meeting rooms. The role involves performing MIS-related duties under general supervision, with the possibility of unscheduled and scheduled overtime, and working outside normal working hours. This position will be performed in person at a corporate office.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year university, pursuing a degree, bachelor’s or higher, in an appropriate MIS or Computer Technology discipline or closely related field; OR Recent graduate (having graduated within 12 months prior to internship start date) with a degree, bachelor’s or higher, in MIS, or Computer Technology or closely related field.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possesses strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly accurate and detail oriented.
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate our core values of honesty, fairness, respect, trust, and integrity.
  • Ability to understand, apply and communicate verbal and written work and safety-related instructions, procedures, job assignments and applicable safety standards in English.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Exposed to: SharePoint document management, MS Project and data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Document and execute Group Policy Objects (GPO) cleanup.
  • Analyze requirements and build SCCM license compliance dashboards.
  • SCCM PXE image and task sequence testing.
  • Creation or revision of operational and troubleshooting run books.
