About The Position

The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for stocking and re-stocking all bar inventories and supplies while maintaining the organization of the mini bars. This role involves interacting with guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. The position requires maintaining professional appearance standards, anticipating and accommodating the needs of employees and guests, managing incoming orders efficiently, and accurately following purchase order specifications. The attendant must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of various areas including receiving, the kitchen, and the entire venue, while also following supervisor instructions and supporting co-workers as a team player. A strong understanding of receiving procedures, general venue knowledge, and compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards are essential. The role also includes communicating product needs, setting up receiving stations, performing opening and closing procedures, reporting any breakage or damage, and attending daily pre-service meetings and training sessions. Learning through observation and sharing knowledge, leading by example, and portraying a positive and professional attitude are key aspects of this role. Demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments, and working collaboratively with team members are also crucial.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience interacting with guests in a hospitality industry role.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills.
  • Able to apply sound judgment in practical matters.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess & demonstrate superior presentation skills.
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate

  • Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.

  • Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers and chefs.
  • Properly sets-up the bar stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
  • Makes sure the bar and bar area are clean and free of debris.
  • Sets bar with proper equipment, and settings as required.
  • Wipes down bar-top, bar stools, lounge tables and chairs.
  • Stocks bar-stations with prescribed supplies.
  • Properly follow all beverage requisition procedures.
  • Assists the bartenders to ensure a high level of quality and speedy service.
  • Responsible for emptying the trash from behind the bar and disposes of it correctly with all cardboard boxes broken down.
  • Responsible for keeping clean and organized to company standard all back of house storage and refrigeration.
  • Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels.
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
  • Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
