About The Position

Riggs Washington DC is seeking an experienced and passionate Minibar Attendant for its brand-new independent hotel. The ideal candidate will have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess an open mind, a great sense of humor, and enjoy finding solutions and working proactively with a team. Adaptability, calmness under pressure, resourcefulness, and efficiency are key attributes for this role.

Requirements

Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST
A minimum of 1-2 years hospitality experience is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team setting
Excellent communication skills
Possess poise, elegance and calm demeanor in all situations

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment related to minibar operation.
Supervise the handling of minibar items, safety protocols, and functions of all minibar attendants.
Maintain a full understanding of all food and beverage items on the minibar menu.
Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking items and cleaning as needed.
Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
