About The Position

Riggs Washington DC is seeking an experienced and passionate Minibar Attendant for its brand-new independent hotel. The ideal candidate will have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess an open mind, a great sense of humor, and enjoy finding solutions and working proactively with a team. Adaptability, calmness under pressure, resourcefulness, and efficiency are key attributes for this role.

Requirements

  • Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST
  • A minimum of 1-2 years hospitality experience is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess poise, elegance and calm demeanor in all situations

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
  • Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment related to minibar operation.
  • Supervise the handling of minibar items, safety protocols, and functions of all minibar attendants.
  • Maintain a full understanding of all food and beverage items on the minibar menu.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking items and cleaning as needed.
  • Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
