About The Position
The Mine Services Technician will support the team by performing daily tasks that include: Installation and management of large-scale pumping systems Fusion and placement of HDPE pipe Installation and management of dewatering well pumping systems Maintenance and management of water storage ponds Hydroseeding and revegetation
Requirements
- Basic knowledge in dewatering pump fundamentals
- Good industrial Safety practices
- Ability to layout and repair piping systems
- Good understanding of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance checks
- Ability to operate mobile equipment excavator, backhoe, skid steer
