About The Position

The Warehouse Technician performs diverse warehouse job functions to support the operating efficiency of Sufco Mine. This role involves receiving, stocking, and inventorying incoming parts and supplies, unloading freight using forklifts, and entering/retrieving information from the SAP Computer Database. The technician will also process receiving paperwork, issue parts and supplies, and perform other surface-related tasks such as parts cycle counts, cleaning, and organizing as necessary. The position requires a rotating seven-day work schedule with periodic overtime and a commitment to supporting safety objectives and demonstrating safe practices and behavior. The ability to function with minimal supervision is essential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Computer Data Entry Skills are required (excel, word)
Capable of operating equipment safely and efficiently
Basic understanding of cost control and management
Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs. chest high
Possess valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

SAP system function and application will be considered a plus
General knowledge of mining equipment, parts and tools is preferred

Responsibilities

Receive, stock and inventory all incoming parts and supplies
