The Mine Controller will manage truck, shovel, and auxiliary resources using fleet systems, adapting dynamically to changing conditions. A key aspect of the role is driving a culture of proactive problem-solving and ensuring shift Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met. The position also requires upholding the integrity of the fleet management system, analyzing live data to improve operations, and collaborating with technical teams. The Mine Controller will act as a communication hub between various departments, lead structured shift handovers, and align dispatch strategies with upstream and downstream activities. Additionally, the role supports the transformation to Remote Operations, contributing to ROC protocols and embracing new technologies. A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and accountability is essential, including maintaining awareness of safety-critical conditions, complying with procedures, and executing emergency protocols.
