About The Position

This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on draglines and shovels, including working at height. The role also involves welding, completing daily reports, and potentially assisting other maintenance groups. Participation in the SABERS program and other assigned duties are also part of the role. The ideal candidate must embody the company's core values of Safety, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvements.

Requirements

• Must have a work ethic that allows him/her to demonstrate his/her ability daily with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Must be willing to work in adverse conditions including, but not limited to, extreme heat, cold, dust, rain, snow and wind, as well as frequent contact with grease and dirt.
• Must demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Three years relevant experience, completion of applicable technical school training in maintenance, repairs and welding or a combination of experience and training.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned maintenance and repairs on draglines and shovels, including working at height.
• Perform welding, as assigned.
• Properly complete daily reports.
• May be assigned to other maintenance groups to repair and maintain other equipment.
• Participation in SABERS program.
• All other duties as assigned.
