About The Position

The Millwright performs maintenance, repairs, and installations using a wide range of tools and equipment. The role applies knowledge of fabrication, print reading, machinery, mechanical systems, and related technical areas to service duties involving dryers, lathes, clippers, splicers, saws, mobile equipment, and supply systems such as gas, electric, water, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. The schedule is an eight-hour first shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Base pay is $25.42–$30.94 per hour, based on experience, plus a gainshare bonus every five to six weeks.

Requirements

Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations using a wide range of tools.
Knowledge of metal fabrication, print reading, engine component identification and repair, castings, measurement basics, metal identification, and structural steel shapes.
Knowledge of anti-friction bearing classification and identification, compressor fundamentals, hydraulics, cutting, welding, metallurgy, electrical principles, alignment, lubrication, drilling, seals, valves, and conveyors.
Ability to practically apply relevant technical knowledge to repairs and service duties.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and supply systems.
Install equipment and systems.
Apply practical technical knowledge to repairs and service duties on dryers, lathes, clippers, splicers, saws, and mobile equipment.
Service supply systems, including gas, electric, water, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, welding machines, hydraulic torque wrenches, soldering and metalworking equipment, ladders, and other tools as needed.
