About The Position

Assist with the fabrication, construction, and rebuild of machinery and equipment. This role involves installing and maintaining machinery, performing repairs, and documenting procedures. The Millwright I will interact with various teams to troubleshoot and ensure equipment functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-1+ years’ experience in machine repair
• Demonstrated safety consciousness.
• Valid Chauffeur's License
• Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and all parts of machine repair
• Torches, mig and tig welding, ARC and fabrications applications experience (Must be able to pass hands on Welding Test)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work process.
• Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
• Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Interact with engineering, operations support and product development to troubleshoot and ensure machinery and equipment are working properly.
• Document procedures on new jobs or rebuilds for filing in permanent record.
• Meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment.
