About The Position

The Millwork Specialist is responsible for efficiently building, and/or pulling orders for shipment, ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage; appropriately lifts and stacks material on carts. This is a full-time, hourly position working onsite in Lexington, NC, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. The starting salary is $16.50 per hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1-year related experience or on-the-job training.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
• Ability to choose from workable alternatives.
• Proficient computer and 10 key operation skills (at least be able to type 45 WPM).
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds (Team Lifting is suggested).
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time.
• Must be able to qualify for driving powered equipment and operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner according to company guidelines.
• Must be able to learn the LRT Gun.
• Must know or be willing to learn to use pneumatic tools.
• Must be able/willing to work with others.
• Patience is a requirement.
• Good housekeeping skills is a must.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently build and/or pull orders for shipment.
• Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and free of damage.
• Appropriately lift and stack material on carts.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track material in warehouse locations.
• Assist with physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Comply with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
