About The Position

East Coast Lumber is seeking full-time Millwork Showroom Sales Associates. The primary focus of the position is to meet with homeowners and contractors, understand their project needs, and recommend suitable millwork solutions. The role also involves preparing and maintaining quotes and orders, following through on fulfillment, managing reports, researching products, maintaining the showroom, and assisting Contractor Sales with special orders as needed. East Coast Lumber is a family-owned and operated, full-service lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, New Hampshire. It has served local builders, remodelers, and homeowners since 1976, supplying lumber and building materials, kitchen and bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service. The position reports to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good organizational and computer skills.
Two or more years of experience selling millwork, including doors, windows, and stair parts.
Ability to communicate product features, specifications, and recommendations to customers.
Ability to work with vendors and coworkers in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written customer service and communication skills.
Positive, professional attitude.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Meet with homeowners and contractors, understand their needs, and recommend solutions for their projects.
Take accurate notes, create and maintain quotes and orders, and follow through with order fulfillment.
Manage order and estimate reports.
Research products and manuals online.
Help maintain and organize the Millwork showroom.
Assist Contractor Sales with special orders as needed.
