About The Position

The Millwork Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials and products as specified by customer orders and Company standards. This role involves operating a lumber delivery truck, ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, and adhering to all traffic laws. The driver will also be responsible for accurate record-keeping of deliveries and providing exceptional customer service. Maintaining a DOT medical card and an insurable driving record are essential. The position requires a commitment to a clean and safe working environment, operating equipment safely, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Clean driving record.
Track record of safety-conscious performance.
Knowledge of DOT compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
Safely drive and operate lumber delivery truck.
Assume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle.
Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.
Record all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket.
Deliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket.
Provide exceptional customer service and team support.
Advise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority.
Maintain a department of transportation (DOT) medical card.
Maintain insurable driving record.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.
Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
Perform other duties as required.
