The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and project management within the millwork and cabinetry industry. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating millwork and cabinetry projects
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications to accurately estimate materials, labor, and other project costs
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing
Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients
Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost updates
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in estimates
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market pricing to ensure competitive bids
Assist with project management duties as needed, such as scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates and projects
