About The Position

The Manufacturing Foreman will oversee daily production, supervise production staff, ensure quality and safety standards. This role involves managing production employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient production. The supervisor will maintain knowledge of processes and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and notify the maintenance department of equipment problems. Ensuring employee compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures is also a key responsibility, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with ability to understand manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and team oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them with appropriate.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years work-related experience.
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
