About The Position
Central Valley, a family-owned and operated building supply company, is seeking a Mill Sawyer for its Woodland facility. The Mill Sawyer produces cut packs or re-saw material according to specifications and operates equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience operating industrial saws.
- Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including extended periods of standing, pushing and pulling, hand dexterity, and lifting and carrying materials.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience desired.
- Construction or relevant trade experience is a plus.
- Lumber industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and package material according to work orders.
- Operate saws safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
- Keep work areas clean, neat, safe, and secure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
