About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Cybersaw Sawyer is responsible for safely operating saws to efficiently cut rough lumber into individual truss members. Work must follow shop drawings, meet the applicable Quality Standards for roofs, floors, and panels, and be completed within the time frame determined by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Able to read and write in their primary language.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills.
- Successful completion of Safety Training, Sawyer Training, and Testing.
Responsibilities
- Work safely while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Read and understand shop drawings.
- Operate the saw at 100% efficiency.
- Perform periodic maintenance on equipment.
- Optimize material use to achieve cost savings.
- Train stackers.
