About The Position

The Mill Room Production Operator supports rubber manufacturing operations in Killbuck, Ohio. The role involves operating machinery, preparing materials, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training is available for motivated candidates.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime may be needed. The work takes place in a warm, dusty manufacturing environment and includes standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, bending, and lifting.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience is preferred; training is available for motivated candidates.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including bending and lifting.
• Comfortable working in a warm, dusty manufacturing environment.
• Basic reading, math, and measuring skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber mill room machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mix, measure, and prepare rubber compounds according to production specifications.
• Monitor materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with material handling and other manufacturing tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
