We are looking for a MILL OPERATOR TRAINEE to join our Greenville, MS plant. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Good Organizational and Math Skills.
Good Mechanical Skills
Good Welding Skills
Able to Interpret Blueprints & Drawings
Able to Effectively Use Micrometers, Dial Calipers, Radius Gauges & Other Measurement Devices
Good Root Cause Problem Solving Skills
2 to 5 Years Hands-On Experience with Manufacturing Equipment Operation.
Excellent Verbal Communication Skills.
Willing to Gain Certification in Mill Operation and Forklift Operation, Provided by Company.

Responsibilities

Operates overhead cranes, coil handlers or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area.
Threads in-coming coils through mill processes.
Operates mill components using manual and automatic control on control panel.
Butt welds and grinds strip ends manually.
Performs and records all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced.
Performs equipment setup, routine mechanical maintenance, and repairs to all mill process equipment.
