About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating milling or similar industrial machinery.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity.
  • Mechanical skills daily to set up and adjust milling machines accurately, ensuring products meet precise specifications.
  • Attention to detail is critical when monitoring machine performance and inspecting finished parts to maintain quality standards.
  • Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Problem-solving abilities are frequently applied to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions or production challenges.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow technical documentation ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor milling machines to produce parts according to specifications and quality standards.
