About The Position

Mill operators use machinery to ensure our product is clean and up to customer standards before we ship it out. Mill operators maintain and service the machinery to ensure it's always in tip-top shape. This position requires individuals to be safety-minded, have strong attention to detail, and be mechanically inclined.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills including touch screens
Safety-minded
Strong attention to detail
Mechanically inclined

1+ years of milling experience

Responsibilities

Read and understand daily production schedule and material requirements.
Set-up and operation of mill equipment with correct materials and product based on order specifications.
Discharging mill contents.
Maintaining mill production records.
Sample and grade product according to customer specifications.
Completing and maintaining required documentation on product, materials/supplies, output and machine downtime.
Assist in troubleshooting minor milling problems and make appropriate adjustments on equipment, and perform minor maintenance duties
Communicate with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
Perform other duties as assigned
