About The Position

TA Services is seeking a Mill GM & Site Manager to lead site operations and team performance. This role involves managing daily operations, directing and coaching staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The Site Manager will also champion safety and regulatory compliance, develop and maintain safety programs, build strong customer relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a proactive approach to managing risk and ensuring operational excellence in a construction and industrial jobsite environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Management, Occupational Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in safety management, operations management, or a related leadership role, preferably within a construction or industrial environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing workplace safety programs.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to managing risk.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30-Hour certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, OSHT, or CIH are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Site Operations and Team Performance: Manage daily site operations while directing, coaching, and developing operations staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure customer needs are met through timely communication and 24/7 operational support when required.
  • Champion Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the site's safety leader by enforcing company safety policies, customer-specific safety requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform all duties of a Safety Representative and oversee compliance across the jobsite.
  • Develop and Maintain Safety Programs: Evaluate work environments and implement site-specific safety programs designed to eliminate hazards, reduce workplace injuries, and minimize OSHA citations.
  • Identify jobsite deficiencies and develop corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution.
  • Build Strong Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing responsive service, ensuring operational excellence, and consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve operational processes, safety performance, and employee development through ongoing training, policy implementation, documentation, reporting, and best practice adoption.
