The Site Supervisor for Walden Security manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities of all assigned Security Officers and executes all tasks related to maintaining prescribed standards in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures. This role provides the first line of supervision during hours when an Operations Staff member is not on duty. The Site Supervisor works as an armed, uniformed officer and is able to legally carry a firearm in applicable states and/or locations. They possess a working knowledge and understanding of the Specific and General Post instructions for all Branch posts, as well as practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions required by the client. The Site Supervisor patrols assigned posts and accounts using a company-provided vehicle and has the authority to make decisions in compliance with Walden policies, including relieving any security officer in violation of Walden rules, regulations, or procedures. This role involves shift supervision of all posts and security officers, including roving patrols, by randomly visiting posts/accounts and performing inspections. They conduct inspections of posts and Security Officers for proper compliance with post orders and company procedures, and assist in on-the-job training for new officers. The Site Supervisor responds to building/facility, bank, and ATM alarms as required, and addresses urgent client needs or service changes. They are responsible for informing management of critical issues and recording daily events on the Daily Inspection Report (DIR). Additionally, they fill open posts with off-duty officers or work the shift themselves until a qualified officer can be scheduled. Responsibilities include examining premises for security, warning violators of rule infractions, and registering at watch stations to record inspection times.
