About The Position

TA Services is seeking a Mill GM & Site Manager to lead site operations and team performance. This role involves managing daily operations, directing and coaching staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery, and meeting customer needs with 24/7 operational support. The position also requires championing safety and regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining safety programs, building strong customer relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The work environment is primarily on active construction and industrial jobsites, with exposure to changing weather conditions, construction equipment, and other industrial hazards. This is a full-time, exempt position with a flexible schedule based on customer and project needs, potentially involving work beyond standard business hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Management, Occupational Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in safety management, operations management, or a related leadership role, preferably within a construction or industrial environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing workplace safety programs.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30-Hour certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, OSHT, or CIH are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations while directing, coaching, and developing operations staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure customer needs are met through timely communication and 24/7 operational support when required.
  • Serve as the site's safety leader by enforcing company safety policies, customer-specific safety requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform all duties of a Safety Representative and oversee compliance across the jobsite.
  • Evaluate work environments and implement site-specific safety programs designed to eliminate hazards, reduce workplace injuries, and minimize OSHA citations.
  • Identify jobsite deficiencies and develop corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing responsive service, ensuring operational excellence, and consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational processes, safety performance, and employee development through ongoing training, policy implementation, documentation, reporting, and best practice adoption.
