About The Position

REAL ALLOY is a third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy producer that converts aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal. The Mill Equipment Operator role supports mill operations and material handling. The job summary notes that a full job description will be shared upon mutual interest.

The position pays $24.19 per hour. Second- and third-shift employees receive a $1.00-per-hour shift bonus. REAL ALLOY is offering a retention bonus of $300 after 90 days and $1,000 after nine months. Overtime is required as needed, and employees must be flexible to work different jobs and shifts. Requirements

• Ability to work well with other employees and customers.
• Some mechanical aptitude, equipment familiarity, and general math skills are helpful.

• Occasional moderate heavy lifting is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, payloader, and lot truck.
• Learn mill controls and mill operations.
• Monitor mill process machinery for unexpected problems.
• Understand baghouse controls and operations.
• Switch out and weigh material stored in boxes and roll-off boxes.
