About The Position
Join Interfor’s Adams Lake operation as a Mill Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting that supports real-time mill operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with operational teams, giving you direct visibility into how financial insights drive manufacturing performance. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in accounting or office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
- Detail-oriented, organized, strong communicator, and team-oriented self-starter
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Business (asset)
- Manufacturing or forest industry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and financial records
- Manage accruals, prepaids, pensions, and by-product accounting
- Complete monthly balance sheet and lease reconciliations
- Develop internal reports and presentation materials
- Submit government surveys and required external reporting
