About The Position
The Dairy Plant Worker will be expected to assist in inventory management, collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines, and follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment, and other tasks assigned by management. The Dairy Plant Worker shall be responsible for, but not limited to, performing various tasks in the dairy, including scrubbing pipe fittings and machines, dismantling and reassembling machinery, attaching pipes and fittings, opening containers and dumping ingredients, starting and stopping machines, loading cartons, and performing minor adjustments to machines. This role requires constant standing/walking, repetitive lifting of up to 50-75 lbs, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), wet and humid environments, with exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and forklifts. The position also requires constant mental focus and awareness of surroundings, and the ability to perform tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, twisting, turning, and moving objects.
Requirements

- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities
- Perform any combination of the following tasks in dairy: Scrubbing pipe fittings and machines with chemical solution, using brush.
- Dismantling and reassembling machine.
- Attaching pipes and fittings to machines, using wrenches.
- Opening containers and bas and dumps various ingredients into machine hoppers.
- Starting and stopping machines and equipment.
- Loading cartons into machines.
- Performing minor adjustments to machines as needed to maintain operation.
- Climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, twisting, turning, and moving objects above and below the head, and walking continually to perform job functions.
