About The Position

This program is specifically for Active Duty military personnel interested in the SkillBridge program and who are located in or relocating to the Tampa, FL area. Participants will engage in an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career role, receiving on-the-job training for a 40-hour work week. The program aims to provide transitioning service members with fellowship-style job skills training during the final stages of their military commitment, with the potential for full-time employment post-training. Upon completion, service members will be highly trained and capable employees ready to meet the organization's needs. The internship includes professional development, leadership networking, and specific training on Paragon's leadership principles, company history, customer engagement, product/service overview, and core job responsibilities, positioning them for a successful transition into the civilian workforce.

Requirements

Active Duty military personnel.
Located or relocating to the Tampa, FL area.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Is within 12 months of separation or retirement.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Will receive an honorable discharge.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
