About The Position

Skilled Trades Specialists is looking for MIG welders that can pass a tee plate test and also have construction experience for a local Fabrication Shop. This is a great long term employment opportunity. This job requires MIG welding and assembly work. Those with construction experience are encouraged to apply. Double-Time on Sundays if you work 7 consecutive days! 1st and 2nd shift openings available!

Requirements

• Must have ability to read tape measure, level, and square proficiently
• Must be a self-starter
• Must have reasonable analytical skills
• MIG welding skills
• Ability to pass a tee plate test
• Construction experience
• Knowledge of mechanical principles
• Ability to read blueprints
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or construction is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Operate forklift to move materials and finished products within the warehouse
