Requirements

Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
Rhode Island midwifery license
State of Rhode Island registered nursing license

Responsibilities

Provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care
Family planning education
Manages the reproductive and gynecological care of the essentially healthy woman and healthy neonate.
