About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Certified Nurse Midwife at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, part of the Diana Health system. The role involves providing full-scope midwifery care in a hospital setting, including labor and delivery support, postpartum care, OB triage, and well-woman gynecologic exams. The position requires participation in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call shifts, with 3-7 shifts per month. The coverage period is from November 9, 2026, to February 8, 2027.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active Texas Medical License
• Active Texas DEA
• Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience
• Minimum of 2 years of recent first assist experience (within the past 2 years)

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including first assist duties.
• Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients.
• Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan.
• Participate in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call coverage.
