About The Position

The Midwest Sales Specialist – East will manage relationships with approximately one dozen Manufacturer Sales Representatives for Midwest Electrical Products. The work model for the role is: Remote. This position reports to the Account Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of market experience with contract negotiations and/or sales role in the electrical distribution industry
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related discipline
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and/or electrical construction industry

• Experience managing sales reps preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive and ensure profitable growth by focusing on the Midwest Electrical Products’ market penetration and expansion activities.
• Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
• Identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
• Interface closely with all stakeholders including Sales Managers, Reps, Commercial Operations & Strategic Customers to develop understanding of areas of opportunity and to provide executable proposals.
• Leverage breadth and depth of Commercial Operations team by collaborating with peers.
• Participate in the negotiation of key contracts.
• Understand and address commercial factors such as project duration, project location and basic terms and conditions.
• Provide guidance to the teams and seek knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.
