Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Idaho Nurse Practitioner License or Idaho Physician Assistant License required
- DEA Registration and Idaho Controlled Substance License required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice
- Perform minor office-based procedures as appropriate
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans of care as needed
- Provide preventive care and wellness education
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health strategies
- Promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention initiatives
- Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients throughout their healthcare journey
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation
- Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards
