About The Position

ASRC Federal Highland Technology Solutions is seeking a Middleware Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot applications and services in Windows, Linux, and OpenShift environments. The role includes configuring and troubleshooting connectivity to SQL Server and/or Oracle databases and using automation tools for deployments and operational tasks. The engineer will collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, learn new technologies quickly, and work independently while supporting team objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows applications, services, and web services.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting OpenShift APIs and Services.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting database connectivity with SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Background in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with PowerShell and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot connectivity to SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.

• Learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across the organization.
• Work independently as a motivated self-starter while supporting team objectives.
