About The Position

This position is for a Middle School Wrestling Co-Coach for both the Boys and Girls seasons. The coach will be responsible for performing the duties outlined in the District Coaches Handbook/Head Coaching Responsibilities. The role requires the ability to meet physical demands, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and work with community youth programs. All coaches must complete required safety trainings and pass a background check.

Requirements

Previous wrestling/middle school coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge, experience, and ability to effectively perform the duties of Coach as stated in the District Coaches Handbook/Head Coaching Responsibilities.
Ability to satisfactorily perform all physical requirements of assigned tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration, players and staff.
Ability to work with community youth programs.
Hold or ability to acquire a First Aid/CPR card.
Hold or ability to acquire ASEP/NFHS, concussion, and steroid training.
Prior to starting any coaching activity, must complete and follow guidelines for all online safety trainings required by District.
Prior to starting any coaching activity, must pass fingerprint-based criminal history verification upon offer of employment.
