About The Position

Houston Classical Charter School seeks a dedicated Middle School Teacher for grades 5–7 for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will support the school’s mission to help PreK–8 scholars succeed through classical education, rigorous academics, character development, and a structured environment. The role centers on delivering exceptional instruction and fostering scholar achievement in a new-school setting. The teacher implements a rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum aligned with classical education principles across core subjects including ELA, Math, Science, and Humanities. They create engaging lessons and a scholar-centered classroom, maintain high academic and behavioral expectations, adapt teaching to support scholars’ academic and emotional growth, and collaborate with colleagues while engaging in ongoing feedback and professional learning.
