About The Position

This is a .1 FTE (4 hours/week) position for an Instrumental Music Teacher at Dakota Hills Middle School, effective for the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The teacher will be responsible for teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, carrying out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents. The school district is a public school district of choice serving over 29,000 students and 160,000 residents across multiple cities. Requirements

  • Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach K-12 instrumental music.
  • Strong general academic background.
  • Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.
