About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE Instrumental Music Teacher position serving elementary and middle school students across multiple locations. The role involves teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, fulfilling responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining positive communication with staff and parents. The position is for the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
Requirements
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach K-12 instrumental music.
- Strong general academic background.
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
