About The Position

Amethod Public Schools (AMPS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their instructional team as a STEM Teacher for the 26/27 SY. This teacher will be responsible for teaching 2 periods of Science and 2 periods of Math. Nice To Haves

Knowledge of public education and charter school movement.
1+ years of experience working at school sites or experience working with children/youth.
Previous experience in charter schools.

Responsibilities

Stay current on best practices in education and child development.
Complete necessary administrative tasks such as taking attendance, collecting and distributing homework, enforcing dress code, and maintaining classroom organization.
Oversee student safety and well-being during class time, recess, and lunch periods.
Enforce school rules and procedures consistently.
Be familiar with and follow school emergency procedures.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
