Part-Time Remote Middle School Math Teacher
About The Position
FlexSchool is seeking a part-time, fully remote Middle School Math Teacher to teach two private middle school math classes Monday through Thursday. FlexSchool is an accredited private school network serving gifted, twice-exceptional, and non-traditional learners. Its small classes and supportive community aim to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Teachers are encouraged to collaborate and design learning experiences that respond to individual student needs. The teacher will plan and teach engaging courses, create inclusive and supportive classroom environments, and work with Learning Specialists and Counselors to implement student Learning Profiles and accommodations. The role also includes leading a daily advisory, maintaining student records and family communications, participating in faculty collaboration and professional activities, and supporting the wider school community.
Requirements
- The position teaches two private Middle School Math classes Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

- Lead a daily advisory supporting students’ academic and executive functioning growth.

- Communicate regularly and thoughtfully with students and families.
- Support electives, FlexFriday programming, and broader school community activities.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to student progress, meetings, and recommendations.
