Middle School Intervention Specialist
About The Position
Licking Regional ESC has an opening for an Intervention Specialist to work with middle school aged students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License. The qualities we are searching for in a great candidate include: an understanding of student learning and development, respect for the diversity of the students they teach, thorough understanding of differentiation, the ability to use varied assessments to inform instruction, evaluate and ensure student learning, strong behavior management skills and the ability to communicate with students, parents, other educators to support student learning.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Understanding of student learning and development
- Respect for the diversity of students
- Thorough understanding of differentiation
- Ability to use varied assessments to inform instruction
