About The Position

This is not a traditional middle school teaching assignment. At London School, one teacher serves as the primary instructor for grades 6-8 in a small-school setting. While this requires flexibility, organization, and strong instructional skills, it also provides a unique opportunity to create an engaging and highly personalized middle school experience for students. We are seeking an educator who embraces creativity, innovation, and relationship-based teaching. The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to design meaningful learning experiences, connect learning across subject areas, and help students see the relevance of their education to the world around them. Requirements

Must be licensed or eligible for license as an Elementary teacher, grades K-8, or Middle School teacher with a Language Arts and Math endorsement.
Flexibility, organization, and strong instructional skills.
Ability to embrace creativity, innovation, and relationship-based teaching.
Willingness to explore non-traditional approaches to instruction while maintaining high academic expectations.
Comfort teaching multiple subjects.
Strong classroom management skills.
Belief in the value and potential of rural education.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary instructor for grades 6-8 in a small-school setting.
