About The Position
This teaching position is for an IB MYP Design teacher. We are looking for an educator to build students' critical thinking and communication skills, to help students learn to collaborate productively and to lead students through an inquiry-based and project-based class.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of teaching design, mathematics, science, social studies or in the humanities.
- Degree in education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and experience in middle/junior high education.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo appropriate vetting procedures, including online due diligence, reference checks, and Criminal Background Checks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with IB MYP Design curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans for middle/junior high students.
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction.
- Assess and monitor student learning and progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
