The Middle School Boys Cross Country Head Coach is responsible for carrying out the aims and objectives of the program as outlined by the Athletic Director. This role involves instructing athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary to achieve individual and team success. The coach will supervise athletes, determine scheduling and transportation for events, and ensure adherence to facilities and practice schedules. They are also responsible for maintaining athlete eligibility records, safeguarding equipment and sites, and communicating training rules and sports regulations to participants. The coach must be present at all practices, games, and travel, providing assistance and guidance. Additionally, the coach will direct student managers and statisticians, determine discipline, and contact parents regarding student status.
