About The Position
Provides instruction and works with athletes to prepare them for competitions. Head Coach helps student athletes to play their best individually and as a team. Head coach participate in team events and may supervise practice sessions.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent
- Florida Athletic Coaching Certificate or Florida Educator's Certificate.
- Completed and approved employment application.
Responsibilities
- Provides instruction and works with athletes to prepare them for competitions.
- Helps student athletes to play their best individually and as a team.
- Participates in team events.
- May supervise practice sessions.
Benefits
- Additional compensation for teaching an additional period beyond base contract.
- Additional amount paid as a supplement and disbursed in equal payments.
- This amount is considered part of your salary for Florida Retirement System purposes.
