About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Head Coach for Boys Cross Country. The position requires a Head Coach with knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge. An Assistant Coach is also mentioned with similar knowledge requirements.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate (Florida State Statute mandate for all high school coaches).
- Applicants without a valid Florida Educator Certificate must obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program (for Assistant Coach).
- Shall have a knowledge of the activity and be able to impart this knowledge to the participants (for Assistant Coach).
- Computer skills as required for the position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Coach for Boys Cross Country.
- Impart knowledge of the sport to participants.
