About The Position

The coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and games, and adhere to district policies, rules, and objectives. The coach will lead by example among the team and players. Focus will be on personal development, skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship, and work to establish and improve the team and program.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the fundamentals, rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
• Ability to teach and develop age-appropriate athletic skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented.
• Willing to work within a coaching staff atmosphere.
• Ability to travel with the team to and from away games.
• Provide appropriate supervision throughout team travel and athletic events.
• Meet or be willing to complete all Conway School District and Kennett Middle School requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
• Experience working with teenagers preferred.
