About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution
  • An Identity Verified Print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Teaching certification through Arizona Department of Education: Elementary, Middle Grades, or Secondary Certificate: Music Approved Area OR Arts Education, PreK-12 Music Certificate OR Music, PreK-12 Endorsement
  • SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education, within one year of hire
  • Alternative path to certification available for those with a Bachelor's or more advanced degree who enroll in an approved teacher preparation program and obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate.
