About The Position

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Assistant Soccer Coach position. The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes, as well as, supporting the overall vision for the program. We are seeking a positive, passionate, enthusiastic individual who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.

Requirements

• Specific safety and coaching training as required by the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes
• Supporting the overall vision for the program
• Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training
• Guide and mentor student-athletes to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens
