Cheerleading Assistant Coach - Middle School
About The Position
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Assistant Cheerleading Coach position. The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes, as well as, supporting the overall vision for the program. We are seeking a positive, passionate, enthusiastic individual who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens. The Assistant Coaches report to, and works closely with, the program Head Coach and the Athletic Directors to determine the goals and direction of the program. Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training. See the Athletics website for details.
